A 3 partner practice was not wanting to go through their annual performance appraisal process with staff for another year with a system that they had used for many years which did not properly assess the performance of their staff and which the staff also had become disengaged with. DSI Advisory worked with the partners and using some of its existing templates, went through a process to review the roles within the business and define more clearly what were the key areas of performance for each role and how this was to be measured.

This included both the work being done and the attitude of the staff when undertaking this work. This process also included engagement with staff regarding both the key areas being measured and the KPI’s relating to these measures.

Finally, DSI Advisory assisted the staff in completing the new process and the partners in having to provide the various feedback to their staff. This was a much more relevant process that had everyone feeling more engaged and provided a platform for easier and ongoing staff performance conversations into the future.
